Jhingekhali Watch Tower in Sundarban

Jhingekhali Watch Tower

This watchtower is one of the ones that can be found in the Indian portion of the Sundarbans' eastern nook. It is located in the Jhingekhali Beat of the Sundarbans' Bashirhat Range. Twenty people can fit within the watchtower at once.

Due to its distance from the Sajnekhali/Dayapur area, tour operators and visitors sometimes ignore this watchtower. We believe that the odds of seeing tigers are higher than at other watchtowers because there are less people moving through this area, maintaining the area's picturesque splendor.
